  • Overview

    This is a key technical position that will lead and evolve corporate culture to a data driven organization and help set direction for overall Data Strategy and Data Analytics. This role will be responsible for leading areas of advanced data techniques, including data modeling, data discovery, data access, data integration, data visualization, text mining, statistical methods, database design and implementation. 


    • Provide data management expertise; master data development and governance, dataquality, and metadata management.
    • Participate in project requirement reviews, conceptual modeling, discoveryprocesses, technical design reviews, and project meetings in order to provideappropriate guidance that influences toward good business outcomes.
    • Define and create future data management model with input from technology andbusiness stakeholders and provides guidelines on creating data models and variousstandards relating to governed data.
    • Develop detailed knowledge of the underlying data assets and data products andprovide subject matter expert on content, current and potential future uses of data.
    • Develop process for alignment of data architecture frameworks to support the goalsand principles.
    • Consult with the business process owners of data assets, providers of enterpriseanalytics, and technology leadership to develop enterprise data and analyticsstrategy and roadmap implementation.
    • Review changes to technical and business metadata and definitions, realizing theirimpacts on enterprise applications, and ensures the impacts are communicated toappropriate parties.
    • Identify appropriate data sourcing and extraction processes, and in identifying andnominating sources as systems of record for data usage in various applications.
    • Perform root cause analyses related to information issues and non-conformance topublished data standards based on review of technical metadata of various sourcesystems.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology area of study; preferably in Computer Science, MIS or Analytics and 8+ years of experience in data analysis, data architecture and/or data warehousing; preferably in a shared or enterprise data environment or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Demonstrated understanding of data architecture principles, capabilities, and best practices with the proven ability to define, document and apply standards and best practices.
    • Experience with business processes, data management, data flows, data relationships, data quality standards and processes, and proficiency with data analytical and quality tools.
    • Extensive experience and domain knowledge in the areas of defining and designing Master Data Management
    • Extensive architecture experience and knowledge in the areas of Reference Data, Data Quality, Metadata Management
    • Management and Data Governance architecture frameworks and capabilities.
    • Experience performing oversight of data quality and master data tool implementation
    • Experience with leading data warehouse technologies include MS SQLServer, SSIS, and PostgresDB.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5+ years in an organization with a strong PMO, a variety of methodologies, and strong technical environment management disciplines
